Optional use as Riser Tensioner: The Deadline Compensator (5.4 m stroke and 5 sheaves / 10 wire lines) is similar to an approx. 60,000 lbs ( 25 Te) Riser Tensioner with 54 m rope travel. It is possible to reduce the number of sheaves in use (lines strung) and thereby reduce the rope travel.
